Reporting the Sikh tradition in Britain
The Sikh tradition is the fifth largest religion in the world. There are half a million Sikhs in Britain and this course will introduce their main beliefs, customs and demography. Sessions include understanding of worship in the 250 Gurdwaras in Britain, the meaning of the symbols of commitment known as the 5 Ks and an analysis of recent incidents involving Sikhs in Britain.
